WSOP Main Event Poker News Coverage Provided by Casino Gambling Web
Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) July 5, 2007 -- The annual World Series of Poker Main Event starts on Friday at the fabulous Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States. Action will be moving fast and there will be many sources giving news and updates about all that will be going on. One of the good sources for WSOP news World Series of Poker News (http://www.casinogamblingweb.com/main/other-gambling-news/professional-poker-news.jsp) is Casino Gambling Web, who will have two reporters at the main event, along with two representatives who will be playing in it.
For regular updates stay tuned to Casino Gambling Web (http://www.casinogamblingweb.com/). So far the site has reported on more than 50 events and tournaments that have already been played since the first World Series of Poker tournament of the year was won by Steve Billirakis, a 21-year-old who became the youngest player to ever win a WSOP bracelet.
"Our service is free, it will be updated whenever new information comes to us, and it will include some insider info that you may not get at other gambling reporting websites," said Gordon Price, owner of Casino Gambling Web.
The tournaments were expected to decline in numbers this year following the passing late last year of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, which does not declare poker as being illegal to play in the United States. As a result of the sneakily passed law the WSOP expressed their dissent for accepting players sponsored by online poker websites. Therefore, the number of players who entered the tournament were expected to be dramatically lower, however, by the 50th event the number of entrants slightly exceeded the record numbers that signed up last year to the same point.
"What's great about Casino Gambling Web is that we cater to a range of people with different interests, and those that like and follow poker, especially the World Series of Poker, can just watch one section of our site to get the information they are looking for," said Price.
